Hi! My name is Eleonora, recently graduated from a university in the UK and moved to Rome, on my – what I like to call, journey - to a more sustainable life.

I’ve always been that kid who turned off the tap while brushing her teeth, stuck posters about “what you can do to save the earth” up on my walls and (tried to) take the bus or bike as much as possible. As I grew up that kid was pushed at the back, I still cared, but thought that I, one tiny being in a world of 7 billion, could do nothing more and so I ended up not thinking too much about the consequences of my daily choices and actions.

But recently I realized, I want to do so much more. And I can! I stumbled upon this amazing blog – “Trash is for Tossers” and was immediately inspired. I was literally obsessed for days, reading it over and over. How was it possible? How could she, a young university student, live a sustainable and environmentally friendly life? Why couldn’t I, a young university student, do the same? Now, I don’t think I am ready for a drastic no waste life like hers –yet- but what I do know is that I’m ready to take on a journey to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. One small step at a time. The kid is back.

I’ve decided to start this blog to communicate my love and passion for the environment and to document my process to a “greener” life. I want to show that everyone can make a difference, even students, and hopefully inspire and encourage others to take on a more eco-friendly mind-set.

Small changes count just as much as big ones!
